Hey BoS,

After recently finding out that BlueScope Steel are only taking on materials and chemical engineering, I was wondering whether there was another company (??) that are taking on cadets/trainees/apprentices for engineers?
My ideal discipline is Mechatronics, however computer and electrical engineering does interest me.

Is there a website or brochure where these cadetships (if there are any) are listed?
The IT field also interests me, so if there are any for IT please help me with those too :)

Many thanks
-Craig

RailCorp, Integral Energy, Energy Australia, Endeavour Energy, Telstra, Rio Tinto, BHP.

At the moment, applications are closed for some of them as for next year, but they should be open soon.

You can try the Australian Defence Force. Go to the YOU session. This might be a good choice, you will study through UNSW, unless you are already in uni. They pay for your course, you go for training and all that. Everything is explained on these websites:
