Okay sorry, I asked the wrong question before. This is my problem: I recently bought a new computer with Windows Vista (64 bit), and I installed Counter Strike Source. When I try to run the game, the Steam login thing comes up but when I enter my user name and password and click login, it says: "Fatal Error: Failed to Load Platform Modules". Does anyone know what is wrong? Is it possible to run CS source on a 64 bit operating system?

Thanks.

Steam might be corrupt.

Back CSS up if you havnt, the reinstall Steam.

If that doesnt work, run as Administrator and set the compatibility to XP.

That should fix it.

Ok, I did everything.

I can start steam and login, but when I try to start Counter Strike, nothing happens.

Does anyone know what to do?

Ensure it is up to date, verify contents or whatever it is.
If that doesn't work you may have to reformat.
Something happened to me a while back where a lot of my games mysteriously wouldn't open.
If it's just CS, post on steamsupport about it, it may be that you just have to delete a certain file and let it reupdate or something.
