I talked to one of this years markers and apparently the crime section was marked very easily, for example (b) which refered to the types of legal measures used to deal with international crimes saw students getting higher marks without nessarily refering to legal measures that were approrpiate to the crimes identified in the scenario.

so heres hoping we can all salvage something from what was a very different section on crime !

Our year 12 2004 legal class were doing these questions in class they are very debatable as you can take it as more than one viewpoint

our teacher marked some crime but he didnt tell us how he marked them...but hopefully for your sake it was easy marking

We did the multiple choice in class, and scored bloody well. We didn't actually attempt the questions per se, but we discussed possible answers. It seemed to be an easy test.
I just hope it's as easy in ten months time

not as easy as you might think considering how little people were prepared to get a question on international crimes.

my teacher marked the 2003 paper and said they were throwing away marks because this was a tough question and because not many people knew the answers. There is no gaurantee therefore, that in 10 month's time it will be the same situation for you. You might get a very easy question and therefore have examiners who will be picky with every little thing (such as must include definition, legislation and reason) for full marks.

Never rely on what has been or what might be...just know a shitload about the topic and you'll ace it.

people think it was an easy test??hmph! yeah, its easy to say that now when u can look at it post HSC and think about things more clearly , rather then being stuck in an exam situation and going "what the f**k?" because you've just spotted a question on international crime that seems completely different to anything you expected after studying heaaaps, and spend the rest of the test thinkin that that one question could be your downfall...So no-one say it was easy...The HSC is MEANT to test you and thats what it did!

Top 10 in state in legal !!!wooooooooooo ;p
