Hi, i just found out today that B.information and communication technology will not be on offer no more after this year. Will this affect current ICT students, because some majors are being changed into B.information Technology and B.Information systems + some majors are plain gone. I was also told that the B.info tech and B.info sys are better for the current market, whats gonna happen??

Current students should notice no change to their degree. The subjects will remain the same except it's possible that some electives will be discontinued in place of newer subjects. If you're still in first year I'm guessing it'd be very easy to switch since the first year is probably unchanged or nearly unchanged subjects. Personally I'd switch if given the choice as it would avoid problems with other subjects down the track and mean you're doing a "relevant" degree.
