First the goodluck email, and now this...

Yesterday I got a postcard from USYD. It had my name on the front. I liked that. Did everyone else who got the email also get the postcard?

Nice, now we know why UNI is so expensive - they're spending thousands on postcards.

I was so very excited to get it. Almost made me want to change my preferences to go there. But then I remembered they didn't have the course I want to do. :p

Uni isn't that expensive.. Some private schools paid more than that just for high school. Oww the postcard was nice.
depends on what course ur doing and what status u are on..

yeah its cheap if ur going to do bachelor of arts in notre dame with HECS..

but not if ur trying to do medicine at unsw as a full fee paying intl student..

u are clearly misconcepted.

clowns

the more an institution advertises or attempts to appeal to you with their ridiculous fawning, the more i am repelled by that institution, and the less i feel like i wanna go there.. it gives me the feeling that they have a weakness..

if they were wading in applications for admission, y would they bother sending e-greetings and random postcards?..

or they feel they've done an insane injustice to the kids by having high uai cutoffs. Maybe it's their way of saying you suck? HSC english makes me analyse everything nowadays. Usyd is very calculating.

not yet.. It's a work in progress. though by saying "it's the limit" or something like that they could be implying that you've reached your educational limit - learn no more, uni is for nerds.
