Hi, I'm planning/hoping to do Architecture/Civil at USyd and was wondering if Ext 2 maths would be useful for the civil engineering aspect of the combined degree. Thanks in advance for any advice! :)

I don't know if it is useful or not, but I'm pretty sure MX1 is assumed knowledge. If you're not doing MX1 then you can do a 'bridging course'.

Extension 2 maths would be useful as it does come up in Engineering however you do learn the stuff in university anyway so it isn't required however by doing 4u it would give you a slight advantage.
