hi there! ever since i moved schools in year 11 ( old school was ranked ~70ish , new school is around ~350 ) i've been worried about my atar :s

my ranks are ;
4math - 2/2 (only two people)
3math - 2/12
english adv - 10/45
phys - 2/15
chem - 2/25
bio - 2nd in my class/12, 3rd in the grade/32 (there are two classes)

an estimate would be greatly appreciated , and hopefully this will boost my confidence up and remove my worries about how 'bad' my school is ranked!

thanks!

your schools ranking has no direct effect on your atar.

Not to sound harsh, but I hope you had some extenuating circumstance or good reason for changing schools. Apart from that, due to the low-ranked nature of your school, ideally you'd want to be within the top 2-3 for every subject. This means you will have to lift considerably in Ad. English.

And with smaller low-ranked schools, it is very difficult to give an ATAR estimate as cohorts have a tendency to vary greatly from year to year. But assuming you have an above average cohort, I'd say 90 is probably within reach so long as you do well yourself.
