i got some science exposition test some time next week. I basically know the structure of it. Btw i dnt no what the statement/topic of the test is gnna be, my teacher is going to tell us on the day.

1. Introduce your position on the argument and how u personally feel.

2. Present your arguments.

3. Reinforce step 1/2.

would any1 be able to show me a exposition ... i want to see how its like written etc. Thank you in advance.

Science and expositions don't mix. Science is hard facts and reporting and discussing things objectively.

That's odd that your doing an exposition in Science. They're so English based. Well, it's pretty basic and you got the structure spot on in your post.

List your argument, for example, drinking should be lowered to 16. Against:
Drunk drivers
Hang-overs at School
Brain not developed to cope
Binge Drinking

Put your main and most important points first but make it brief - your gonna elaborate on them later. After your intro you then move on to points (e.g drunk drivers) and then the next one etc etc. I usually have three points as it goes well for the body of the expositon.

After you've made your points, your conclusion should re-inforce your point of view and basically sum up what you've just said. You should always end with strong words that'll be left in the marker's mind, hence re-inforcing your topic.
