in cmd.exe, i want to find out who is connect to my computer

but i forgot the command

i think its "net..." something along those lines

hmm theres a damn lot of people connected to my computer

why are there so many?

what can i do about it?

hmm would P2P programs increase the list?

theres like 100 if not more computers listed

Yes, very much so. Especially with something like bittorrent, exeem or edonkey.

Most good p2p programs have an option to not share any files in the Options dialog

Did i hear uploading? FTPs are the best at doing that. get Serv-U so other ppl can upload/download anything. I use it to access my files from schools comp.

can i say mabbe u should try netstat -b cos this lists wat programs are using ure internet..

cos "-a Displays all connections and listening ports." which can be misleading

Most firewalls programs can also show who is connected

serv-u is a free ftp server (first 30 days - corporate version then freeware)
Very simple to set up. you need to define users, groups & the folders they may have access to. If security is at concern, manually set the ftp port to anything other than port 21. Then to connect to the server, type ftp://<username>:<password>@<your ip address>:<your port>

so if i was to get some files from my school server, i would need to get the ip

umm but wouldnt my school find out that i have been accessing the server?
