forwarding your e-mails (1 Viewer)

yeah, i just find out how to forward the mails that i get in my uni. e-mail account into my normal e-mail account, so yeah, for those ppl. (like me) who think that they might forget to check their uni. mails regularly, shuld go to the following site and get the forwarding feature activated.

and ur stmp is the mail server of ur isp!!

like tpg.mail.com.au or whatever

the smtp isn't meant to be from your isp.. it should be the usyd one.. which i don't have a clue what is.. try smtp.usyd.edu.au ??

yeah, thats what i was thinking, like how would ya isp smtp server allow u to access it using ya usyd details?? it doesn't make sense.

I thought you do use your ISP for the SMTP server... and it works for me on Netscape.

it will only work with ur isp's

yeah i know, but thats what it says on the I.T helpdesk homepage...

its a faq: i.e 'how do i set up my usyd email with outlook?'

i guess its because u r sending email from your comp and recieving emails from the email server. Besides you only need 1 SMTP server for how many email you have on outlook or netscape
