Macquarie International is offering you the opportunity to live and work
in Disneyland!

As part of the Disney World College Program you will earn money, earn
credit and experience working life in one of the world's most
successful companies. Working as a greeter, a driver, a dressed-up
Disney character or any one of a number of other jobs in the theme park
is a once in a lifetime experience you cannot miss.

How you do it is up to you. You can do a seven month internship at the
park from January to July next year, you can combine that internship
with a semester of studies at the University of North Carolina in
Greensboro, or you can take a summer job at the park from November to
February.

All internships receive academic recognition from the University of
North Carolina, and make Macquarie students eligible to receive travel
grants valued at up to $8500 and credit towards your degree.

Representatives from Disney will be visiting Macquarie on Wednesday 5th
of July to run a information session and interview prospective
applicants.

Interested? Just email Stephanie Johnston expressing your interest and
she'll send you the details about the information session and the
interview process: stephanie.johnston@io.mq.edu.au

To get a feel for the program check out the Disney World College
Program website: www.wdwcollegeprogram.com

A whole new world awaits you at Disney!

7k in Mexico would get you as far as about $10,000 in the US, unless you went to one of those practically US-owned areas like TJ or some shit.

I saw this, thought it was a novel idea... One of those things that you look at and say "okay, that would be cool" and forget about it.

The majors are pretty limited... Or, I might just think that because they dont have either of my areas. I'm a loser

I want to dress up as a disney character! :D (preferably one of the princesses. Not just because I want to dress up as a princess, but because I get to breathe then as well! Those full-body costumes are heavy, and really hot to wear, I hear :S)

shit that sounds pretty good. is anyone planning to apply?
Im thinking about it...
but america? disney land? lol

telling future prospective employers...

Oh i worked at disneyland for 6 months on minimum wage 6 bucks an hour, i learnt so much on my "internship" at one point i wore a donald duck costume and cleaned toilets

OR

I had an awsome life experience in a whole different culture mexico, volunteering, meeting local ppl and learning a different language and spending 2 months after travelling to places like the carribean, cancun

lol i'll give it some better thought later... but my standpoint regarding Mexico Vs Disneyland ..... is errm obvious. I'm sure there's more to the Disneyland internship though... im just uninformed and stuff

Anyone want to change my views?

She gave me a big speech lol I'de be going to the campus on Monterrey which is like the safest place ..

its only Mexico city and other such places similar to that that ide need to learn some spanish...

She told me how i'll hear lots of stories about cab drivers...who take girls and rape them and leave them out inthe middle of nowhere :S:S

She said your pretty much catching cabs with your friends all the time and if you know spanish, they usually won't rip you off and err hopefully won't rape u lol

I'll be safe though, my friends giving me a book called "Travelling safely- a guide to travelling alone as a woman" or something along those lines.

BOTH! :D

4 months exchange 2 months travelling :)

lol i just checked the website... gawd how gay! imagine working 7 months for 6.40 an hour!... However.. it changes to 6.90 which is premium pay :| Urmm righhht!

They have professional internships available though... i wanna do one of those.. but they need an "indepth" knowledge of the resort hence why u do the crappy internship first.

If they had one in australia... ide do it... even if it was $6.40 an hour! Jeez imagine that! Working a WHOLE hour and still not being able to pay for my petrol to get to uni one way.
