Do you guys have any plans for after prelims/holidays before we officially start year 12? I know I’m going to a concert and spending some well deserved time with some of my mates, and our school is having a retreat while Year 12 does hsc before we actually start year 12 :)
That sounds fun! I don't have any concrete plans, but I'm definitely going to hang out with friends and have a nice relaxing time.... I have my P's so maybe I'll drive to the beach or something, but idrk. Andddd I'll inevitably be working, gotta secure the bag somehow 💰🤑 I also plan to reward myself by buying a video game after my last exam, so I'm actually hyped for that.

Pokemon Legends Arceus, I've been playing pokemon games for like 8 years but for some reason I could never be bothered to get this one (until now xD). Also being able to drive is so great, I got my P's in April and damn, it makes life sooooo much easier.

probably just going out with friends and family for a bit. the retreat sounds super fun, makes me wish that my school had one too instead of a camp in the middle of the year

Wow you're so young for year 11 😲 And wow Thailand! That sounds super exciting (I'm jealous)
Yup, I’m the youngest in my year by 3+ months. Its a consequence of moving countries when I was 5, I don’t really mind it though, means that I can get ahead a bit in life and get into the workforce younger, and I’ve been around people a year older than me for pretty much my whole life.

And yeah I’m so excited, my family has had soo many holidays cancelled because of covid and it’s so exciting to finally be able to go overseas again! :D

Ahhhhh, that sounds so cool... it makes me miss travelling since I haven't gone overseas since covid, can't wait for that as soon as my HSC is over

(Funny thing is, my accel jpn class was meant to go on a week or so trip to Japan during the holidays or something before the HSC this year, but covid ruined things </3)

Same thing happened at my school, all the kids doing Japanese (from yr 9-11) were supposed to be going to Japan and I think it’s been called off 3 times now, there were some kids who literally chose Japanese just to go to Japan, so you can imagine how they feel. Although I hear that they’re doing a Japan trip next year just for the kids who missed out because of covid which is cool!

It’s the first time we’ve been to camp since year seven and our camp in year seven was so terrible lol
Year 7 camp I knew no one (I think it was second or third week back) and the school arranged the groups and cabins it was horrible 💀

My school has their cohorts go on camp once a year, but my one missed out because of covid last year and in year 8 because of the bushfires. hoping year 12 camp is a lot better

finished maths adv, now i have to grind for chemistry 💔
I had business this morning, and now I have to grind for bio tomorrow :) business was ridiculously easy, I literally finished all 3 sections with a whole hour to spare 😭😭 The multiple choice and short answer sections literally took me 25 minutes in total, and then I spent about 35-40 mins on my extended response.
It was tragically boring, I did a nice little sketch on my exam though 🤩

How did those both go?
Maths advanced I got 99% (1st in course) which is funny

BUT what I’m much more proud of is English because I got 80% (I threw the essay hard) which was the second highest mark out of all everyone which I never would’ve expected in a million years oMG :D:D

I’ve never been an English person so I’m so proud about that English mark
