I am in 2nd class for English so it will be assumed that people in this class will go to English standard. However, the teacher recently told us that next year for term 1 all levels of people will undertake the same module which is "reading to write" and this is a chance for us to try our best and get very high marks to be a part of English advance.
As you know it's nearly the end of the year so I was thinking this holiday to study this "reading to write" module prematurely so I can score very high and be familiar of it before all my peers. The reason I am doing this is that I am not the best at English but want to get as high marks as possible.
If I am being real I don't really know what this module is about so does anyone have resources or example essays that got high marks. I really want to study the hell out of this in the holidays.

I'm going to assume that as you will be doing the 'reading to write' module next year, you are in Year 10 now going into Year 11 next year. The best thing you can do now is to download the English syllabus (the standard one) and make sure you know it thoroughly (key words and concepts). If possible, ask your teachers later in the term if they know what texts they will be going through next year. Generally, I'd say the summer holidays coming will be your last proper one, so make the most use out of it.

bro its too late. My future is on the line and I need to start in the holidays
imma be real with you

this is your last ever summer holidays that you can chill out in.

Make the most of it bro, cus if you think you'll be studying like a psychopath for the next 2 years, speaking from a year 12 perspective, you aint doing that. (Not even the top graduates of Ruse do that)

Yikes you seem like a great person itโ€™s her loss
thank you for the kind words :D,
it was a pretty brutal one bc she messaged me on gmail (she blocked me from the rest of social media platforms haha) and yeah I have to say I was really sad, all I could say in response was I wished her the best and that I apologised for being 'creepy' and that I will move on

took me a few days to really adjust back to normal but I am glad in a short period of time I learnt to not hold anything against her and just move on rather than go into recluse mode like a lot of guys sadly do.
rather than blaming her or a whole gender like again is a problem with a lot of guys I know and see online sadly I just learnt to move on basically and that God has more plans for my life or maybe that I am too immature right now.

who knows but I am certain of that

I can sort of relate to that, but your response to the whole situation is extremely refreshing, I'm just in awe right now- ๐Ÿ˜ญ

haha no worries.

Theres more stories from me as well if youd like to hear, some might call it oversharing but tbh I dont care and as long as someone learns from it.

My response from the rejection was based on how from online and sadly being in these communities before of a lot of guys who think after getting rejected by a girl they think its ok to be misogynistic or blame the women solely or say 'all women are this etc' but I just had to think to myself that its my fault I got rejected and/or even if it isn't well its her loss and that thats ok because just because youre nice to a woman or like her doesnt mean she is inclined to date you.

I think it was best that I apologised to her and moved on and focused on going to the gym etc.
