i have to do this dot-point but having trouble with it, would anyone please help?

-identify that oxidation-reduction reactions can occur when ions are free to move in liquid electrolytes.

thanks.

this dot point only requires you to identify (that is name and recognise) that redox reactions can occur within liquid electroytes, so no explanation is really required however consider displacement reactions where a more reactive metal placed in a solution of less reactive ions will oxidize and form ions in solution, and the original ions in solution will become deposited on the original metal eg zinc metal in copper solution--> Zn loses electrons and becoems cations whereas Cu cations gain electrons. In such displacement reactions the ions need to be mobile and able to move aroudn freely in order for a redox reaction to occur
