I just wanted to clarify, how many offers can we recieve? For example if you are legible for 3 courses, does that mean 3 offers can be made (providing other criterion is met)?

Actually i think you may get more, the UAC have a link saying

"Check Offer(s)" implying that you may get one or more.

I hope I am right.

No need to apologise, I am just a little worried, becuase I put UWS before UNSW for social science, becuase of the majors they offer, and I have changed my mind, still social science but only UNSW can offer me the right majors.

i think you can get more than one offer but only one per round ie one main, one late ect. so for most ppl this means only one offer

i did the hsc last year and you only get one offer im afraid!

thats why they ask you to list your preferences in the order you want to do them. So you'll only get the first preference that your uai qualifies for, even if you qualify for your other lower preferences.

What if we have say in our preferences:
1, X
2, Y
3, Z

In main round i'll get Z. Is there a chance i can get Y in the later rounds (ie if i cant get x again)?

yes you can get Y in the later rounds provided that there are vacancies in that course.

you can get 2 offers in a round, 1 HECS and 1 FEE PAYING.. thats if you have any FEE PAYING preferences.

Remember: ALWAYS accept your main round offer IN CASE there are no vacancies and/or u dont make the cutoff in the late round (as they tend to increase for popular courses)

Well now I am stuck with UWS, gee I wish they made it more clear at application time. Although I have no real problem, looks like Criminology instead of Politics.
