My school is trying something new and having our trials late this term instead of in term 3. Do you think it would benefit us or really stuff us up and our HSC?

pros: less content to study for the trial.
cons: more content to study for hsc.

it adds up.

This scheme of pushing trials forward is a common trend in a number of schools in the last couple of years. My school has quite an extensive populous creative art subjects, such as Drama, Visual Arts, Music l & ll. With this there is quite a few students who study extension subjects; such as English Extension ll and History Extension. All these subjects have HSC Major Works, so moving Trials forward is useful to those students have major works which need to be submitted and completed at the beginning of term 3. So one positive is that you will have the holidays to concentrate on any major works, as Trials will have been completed already! n_n

better in term 3 tbh, more time to study even if it is more content.
