I am currently in year 11 and want to change to a Selective school. I know I am capable of withstanding the pressure but have never applied to a selective school before. I go to Peak for Chem, Dr Du A1 etc and pre much at the top of my school. Is it possible for me to still change into a selective school?

iirc most schools do not accept transfers after y11 (i.e. year 10 is the last year to apply) however even if there is a school that will accept you i don’t think it’s worth transferring at this point because by the time u start at the school you’ll be in y12 and i guess student-teacher relationships as well as relationships w ur peers is important in maintaining a support system to help u get through your last year of hs. considering ur du A1 and u go tutoring i’m sure you’ll end up doing well no matter what school you’re at and just because you are capable of withstanding the pressure, doesn’t necessarily mean that you should
