Is PDHPE all theory? (2 Viewers)

I am still going to do it in year 11 if it is but my favourite subject at school was practical PE! Yeah, so do you get to do any practicals in year 11?

At my school, no. They got to go on a snow skiing trip though as part of a core in yr11 (which was really just for fun, no educational aspects).

At my school you get practicals for yr 11 but none in year 12. We got the snow skiing trip as well. So it would be best if you asked your school if you get practicals or not in yr 11

Our PDHPE classes got 1 prac a fortnight. If you want a lot of practical lessons than I'd recommend doing SLR if your school has it.

wow hahah now i feel so lucky having one every week in yr 11. I miss yr 7 and 8 though when we got 2 per week!

Yeah, at our school PDHPE doesn't do much prac. SLR on the other hand, you do like 5 theory lessons in a year

PDHPE in year 12 and 11 is all theory for us, im doing it right now for my HSC, its an easy subject as long as you can remember all your concepts and info, though it is a reallly bad scaler

At my school, it's like 99.5% theory.

The course is pretty much designed to be 99% theory. At my school the only prac is during the Biomechanics and First Aid topics.

I don't do it but I asked my friend and she said they've done 3 pracs since beginning of year 11-now (half way through hsc)
