Typical story... left research gathering too late (in my defence this is a first) thinking I'd just use e-resources. There are a couple of good ones.

But there are some BETTER ones in my SOC289 course reader. Can I use these as my "main" sources, even though they're in my reader?

I totally feel as if I should know the answer, but thought I'd ask anyway. :S

i have absolutely no idea about the course, but i say 'yes'. yes its fine to use a source in your reader. - just try and find the original book and reference that (or if you cant be arsed, just type the book title in the library engine. if its there, just reference it without having to look at it- you could always just get away with saying you cited it quickly in the library).


using reader references as your main sources- thats a good idea

Of course you can use your reader articles as a source!! Thats how I survived in SOC180, so I'm assuming SOC289 is the same idea. As long as you have some other sources (like your e-resources) then it should be fine..

Ooh, just an idea! Do your reader sources have their reference list still attached? Because you can copy their references, and use them as your own! That's how I survive in psych

Ack, no references.

But have more faith in using reader article now

Essay is major gah-ness though. I'm just not really into it, and have been that way for two days now :S Running out of time! (it's due friday)
