WASHINGTON: Joe the Plumber has signed with Jim the Publicist.
The Ohio man who emerged as a symbol of middle-class tax fears is now being represented by a Nashville PR firm.
"He's had a deluge of requests" for appearances, said Jim Della Croce, owner of the Press Office. "Right now we're just planning on getting him through the week."
Joe Wurzelbacher, 34, appeared with Sarah Palin at a rally in Bowling Green, Ohio, where thousands chanted his name - but what next? With a PR team, clearly he's hoping for offers to put him in a much higher tax bracket.
"He's a focused, dynamic speaker, and he's touched a nerve with the common man," Mr Della Croce said. "There's going to be life far beyond the election for Joe the Plumber."
Another Press Office client fresh from the same Ohio rally is the country singer Aaron Tippin, whose latest song is Drill Here, Drill Now.
