ok, your chance to write down what you think will happen so that in 24 hours time you can come back and officially crow about it.
my predictions:
the opening chapter will be in godric's hollow.
petunia and harry become a bit closer, perhaps because petunia's been in contact with dumbledore for a bit and she seemed to be more cluey than we assumed in OotP.
harry leaves privet drive for bill and fleur's wedding.
ron and hermione will officially get it on (if they don't, i am flying to england and slapping JKR).
dumbledore will die and i assume mcgonagall will become headmistress.
the half blood prince will be someone new (ok, a copout since the only plausible character we have so far is hagrid and somehow i don't think so).
there may be hints of harry and ginny getting closer.
somehow i see snape doing something good for the Order, too.
harry will obviously tell his friends about the prophecy.
the chamber of secrets becomes important, or at least something related to it.
percy - toughie - but he'll probably die doing something great and reconciling himself with his family in death because he's too proud to go back and say sorry. at least, that's what i think. but that might be in book 7.
hermione will get 12 OWLs (at least) and harry becomes quidditch captain. (hmm but it could possibly be ron...so harry gets head boy in year 7.)
