Well i entered Lions Youth of the Year competition a while ago and the dinner is in two weeks.

For anyone that has done it...in the five minute prepared speech, does it have to be an original speech? or can you just pluck one from somewhere and present that?

i just don't remember reading anywhere that it had to be original.

i should have written it in the holidays..now with school back i'll just have to knock one up when i can find time.

or i could use one of my previous ones...does anyone know where i can see some killer sample speeches? or would anyone care to share their own?

yes definitely go for original.

Although you don't have to be too special cos they boy that won our area's heat is about as interesting as a grey brick and has done about as much.
