I haven't had much luck with MP3 players, they dont' seem to like me. We (my brother and I), bough an iPod, didn't work, went back got another one, and it didn't work either. So, we gave up on the iPod. We bought a 256mb creative MP3 player and it kept dying on us. And now we come to the m:robe, Olympus' alternative to the iPod (have you seen the ads?). Anyway, I bought an m:robe today. And none of my songs will download onto it. There's some sort of error. So, to anyone who has an m:robe, a step by stetp guide, because maybe I'm doing something very wrong....

Hmm. I just installed the software, plugged in the USB cable, charged it for about a day (first-time use) and then ran the program and put my music on it.

What error are you getting and how did you get it?

BTW: is it the 5gb one or the 20gb one? Mine's the 5gb.

When you say your Ipod and Creative MP3 players wouldn't work, what was the actual problem? If it is also to do with transfering files you could have a problem with your PC.

While I love my M:Robe, I wouldn't actually disagree here. Zen Micro is a nice little device.

But returning it shouldn't be necessary.

i'm returning it and getting a CREATIVE MUVO TX FM 1GB from mp3direct.com.au

the problems i was having with the ipods, the computer wasn't recognising it, and the songs wouldn't download onto it. and the creative kept turning off.

so here's hoping this will work.....
