Hej everybody im really worried about some stupid mistakes I made in the bio test. May i please ask your opinion as to how many marks i would lose?

19. Name an Infectious disease and give:
-cause
-symptoms
-treatment
-prevention methods
(4 marks)

How do you think they would allocate marks if you did all they asked correctly with a non-infectious disease?

23. Meiosis:
i) How are daughter cells different to parent cells (1 mark)
ii) What was the first process (1 mark)
iii) Where does crossing over occur and how does it effect inherited genes (3 marks)

How about if you answered i) correctly, ii) incorrectly and for iii) said HOW crossing over increases genetic variation but didnt mention where (or said a wrong process)

27. Impact of mutations for the flu virus and human health (8 marks)

Finally, how about if you mentioned what you felt as 8 diff points and related it back to the question constantly but forgot to mention B and T lymphocites?

Thank you all. :)

i) haploid number of chromosomes (half the number)

ii) Meiosis

iii) At 'B', creates variation, increases biodiversity of the species.
