Hi,

I have been lucky enough to visit Disneyland several times in my life, most recently in Feb '05. After so many trips I feel very competant in talking about all aspects of planning a holiday there. So I am using this thread as an open book, ask any questions and I will post the answer, gradually building a complete FAQ.

Some possible topics:
- Transport
- Accommodation
- Dining
- Attractions

Hey, I am just trying to provide a useful service. These forums often have lots of questions about places people are going, so I am trying to centralise some of that information.

Do not go on the submarine ride (is that even still there?)
Don't eat in the park, bring your own food.
You will not be able to do it all in 1 day.
Be prepared to stand in line for 2 hours for splash mountain esp in summer. or any ride that is indoors (space mountain.. the best ride in the park.. the haunted mansion or pirates of the caribeen)
and yeah.... that's my 5 cents

Ahh, I see, sorry to snap. I can talk about my experience in general, but that takes a long time to type. When I have some spare time ...

The submarine ride is gone.
And are you saying shouldn't eat in the park beacuse it is expensive, or beacuase the food is bad?

Cherios are a cereal. are you talking abour churros?
The park food is expensive and you can find better quality food outside the park. The best place to eat is this place in the new orleans section. Another problem with eating in disneyland is that you are surrounded by toddlers yelling and screaming, not pleasant.

Thank god they took that submarine ride away, i though they did becuase it was closed last time i went.

oh. churros? like the cinnamon things.

the whole of the tomorrowland section sucks ass, and so does toontown. and make sure to use those fastpass things on the rides with long lines (like indiana jones, splash mountain etc), they're the best things disneyland ever came up with.

and the massive rollercoaster on the california adventure side of disneyland = the best rollercoaster EVER.

No actually i love Disneyland, i don't have to like everything do i?
I've been there so many times the magic kinda wears off.
The lines arent always moving. 3 hrs in a splash mountain line in the middle of summer is not what i call fun but whatever floats your boat.
Tomorrow land is the best, the mattahorn and space mountian are the best rides.

yeah, but the matterhorn breaks down like every five minutes so the line stops moving. and space mountain's closed down.
