After sitting the HSC Mathematics extension 2 examination I would say it was a fair, well set out examination which tested all the required skills of 4 unit students. If you thought the paper was too difficult then maybe you shouldn't have undertaken the course as it was testing the required skills which are demmanded from 4u mathematics students.

What were your overall thoughts?

Cheers,

I reckon there was too much inequality stuff in there.
There were two volumes questions of similar type.
Question 7 was nice and easy, but question 8 was deadly.

There were a few really easy marks thrown in though, like the foci/directricies/eccentricity of the ellipse and the binomial 'write this' in q7.
