--> The family is virtually connected - but this is also a source of disconnection. We see eachother through digital screens despite being physically together.
--> The mirror is a symbol of our about to reflect on this paradox and thus change our behaviours. However, the family's ability to do so, further indicates how they cannot escape this life despite being able to do so.

Also if you can state the paradox of children yearning for technology rather than love?
I'd argue the opposite - from the gaze of the three in this image it appears that the adults are engrossed in their technology, while the baby seems fascinated by the world outside of the screens. This could be the paradox because we believe that it would be the opposite since younger generations have grown up around technology.
