What's the deal with vacation work:
Do you just write out to mining companies asking them?
Do you write to the holding company or the more specific miners?
Do the small miners participate in this?
How much do they pay you?
Do you focus on a particular mineral or type of mining?
Will international companies be into it?
Also: any stories + words of advice?
From looking through a list, AngloGold Ashanti looks pretty wicked.
