Hey y'all,
So I've just finished my hsc and am looking for a source of income before starting uni. I have 2 real options in mind; I can either get a job in retail/cafe or I could use my musical talent to play piano in bars or at functions and stuff. So my question is which one should I go for ?

Work experience:
Soccer referee
Unofficial work labouring and gardening at people's places

HSC results:
Don't know yet, but they will be pretty good (about a 95 atar)

Musical experience:
Played in 3 bands, several competitions over past 5 years.
Jazz saxophone and piano player

Catches:
If I go for the music idea, I will have to find and learn atleast 2 hrs of repetoire as I don't actually know any songs yet due to the hsc. So it's really either I look for a job or I learn the music.

Music is better, in retail/cafe some people can be cunts and ruin your whole day, whilst with music you do something you like and make money.
