alright so im starting sem 2 first year.
im doing com/law

getting meh credits not putting much effort.
problem is idk what im doing seriously why am i doing law no idea why am i doing commerce again no clue
what to major in for commerce no idea

i hate accountancy i liked econ but dont wanna transfer im too stupid maths-wise to do finance.
what should i major in any ideas?

You can do economics as a commerce major.

Get a Job that compliments your degree or look to get into a vacation program to help figure out what you're interested in. I stumbled across insolvency that way - technically you need to be an accountant but it is mostly legal work tbh if I relied purely on what i learnt/experienced through my degree I would have had no idea wtf I was doing.

I think it might be time to reevaluate your degree choice - do have any interests outside the Law/Commerce field?

maybe talk to someone about it. getting career advice can be a good idea so you don't just 'meh' your way through the next 4 years and end up in a position you don't care about.

Getting a vacation job like Hagaren suggested could also be good and USyd is having their internship/vacation work fair first week back in sem 2 iirc.
