(proper documentation - process diaries, dfd's, etc and good time mgmt - thru gantt charts)

pretty much b/s, i don't remember it from davis but there was like 1 pgph on in in fowler...

21b was something like: i) have a talk to the employees, explain to them what the system will do, how it will affect them, and ii) retrain em to work with the system, therefore less job losses...

also b/s. :torch: ah well 'ts over now

Time Management : Enough time to build a properly developed and reliable software solution.
Resource Management : Allocating an appropriate number of system analysts and programmers to the project and providing powerful hardware to program on, so there are fast compilation times.

project manamgement <> gannt chart..

well not exactly..

project management involves things like

communication plan
funding plan - how u are gonna get the money
project plan - which includes gannt chart to manage time. You should've really said project plan ..which manages resources inlcuding time and money..

I think we all know what we mean when we say 'gantt chart'.

Seeing it asks for a technique, we can say the team can use gantt charts to effectively plan the development timeframe for components of the project to ensure it is finished in the required time.
