i got a quick easy question

The letters of the word CIRCULAR are printed on separate cards
How many distinct arrangements of the cards can occur in a straight line if the 2 C's cannot be adjacent

this is probably a heaps simple question but i get so confused when it comes to probability so any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

P(2C'S together) = (7!)/(2! x 2!)

P(2C'S NOT Together) = 1 - P(2C'S together) = 8!/(2! x 2!) - 7!/(2! x 2!) = 10080 - 1260 = 8820
