can I use the same related text in advanced English and extension one? (thinking Animal Farm for comedy in ext 1 and representing people and politics in adv.)

Yes you can use the same related text for different modules (including Advanced/Extension modules)

However Animal Farm by George Orwell is in Module A: Elective 1 Experience Through Language.

As it is a prescribed text I would recommend you steer clear of it.
