I have 5 coins, all identical. Find the total number of combinations I can put these into 8 buckets. I can put anywhere between 0 and 8 coins in any particular bucket.

eg:

(2) (0) (0) (1) (1) (0) (1) (0)

assuming u meant each bucket could have 0 - 5 coins

let o be a coin and | represent a form of divider
this q basically means number of ways in arranging
ooooo|||||||
ie, dividing the 5o's into 8 sections, or choosing 5 from 12 positions to place the coin,
hence 12C5 =792
