It was relatively easy with the amount of study I did, would have been harder had I not studied... but thats a given. Used 8 booklets, did about 12 pages.

Was surprisingly easier than I was expecting, managed to do all right, even if I don't get the misadventure I think my school's doing (whole grade thing for death of a teacher, his funeral was today before the exam) I should be fine.

I even mananged to make my answers light-hearted and joking, probably more for my sake though. NavMap in MM was a great question.

I used the 6 booklets we got, wrote about 3 pages for each section, 4 for options.

DFD = :( And what were we meant to do for the vet diagram?

14 pgs, medium-small writing

The exam was good.. I studied alot of technical stuff, wasn't much in the exam.

It seemed cover a variety of aspects in each section, though not as specific as I thought it would be.

The multimedia section was a surprize - nothing on animations lol.

I had hope there would of been drawing of a screen or smth - make it too easy I guess.

Again spent too much time on the beginning, though completed everything - somewhat satisfactory.

I don't care about how much I write.
If the markers can give me 6 marks in one page, they're going to be happier than if they can give me 6 marks in four pages.

I found the exam rather reasonable, although some of the stimuli were a bit dodgy. And the data flow annoyed me...

I finished within two hours and had to go and refine and re-refine everything - instead of just leaving.

Here's my running commentary on the exam:

I reckon I got 18/20 in multiple choice after looking at the answers you guys got

Question 21 was easy

22 wasn't bad (i said the pets wre participants in the system???)

Question 23 was straightforward - lucky I already knew about spoof emails and stuff (lol my dad got scammed by an ebay one and he's been getting viagra emails ever since) cos I don't think we ever learnt it in class

In Question 24 I fudged the dataflow, but should get a couple of marks just for having the right symbols and stuff
Also, what were you supposed to do for 24b) I just wrote some stuff about designing a database and i drew a schema for it or something

In the TPS option, what did you write for "define transaction". I had no idea...wrote something about an action which results in the exchange of data or something. I think I stuffed 25b) as well

Multimedia was easy...yay!

All in all I think it was a more difficult test than last year in that it required you to think more on the spot and apply your knowledge rather than simply regurgitate it

Yeh nothing will peeve you more than if you left early only to realise that in the hour extra you had, you could've just put a bit more effort in refining your answers to get more marks.

nah, the questions were easy and i know for sure i stuffed two of them up...

i put 3 B (what was i thinking....lol)

and 7 D (actually, im not so sure cos transferring to an mp3 player is storage, not necessarily transmitting/receiving. then again, the eftpos thing is more collecting.....)

oh well! ipt's gay anyway

ITS OVER!!!!!!!!

I said music to MP3 was transmit/receiving, because when I upload music to my phone it says "transfer complete" and transfer is like transmit, lol. Most correct answer there, the rest were collecting processes, I think.
