I'm creating this thread with the main purpose of sharing my blonde moments with you all, but I think we can all get a kick out of sharing the stupid things we've done or said at uni



Today. 11am, coming down W6A elevator with my bca friend Angus.

Angus: So what are you doing for the ENGL218 (creative writing) assessment?
Me: Oh, I don't know. We have to write something though, don't we?
Angus: *bursts into laughter*

Looking back, that doesn't read as funny as it was, but meh. I have time to kill, and I'm in the library computer room!

god I'm such an idiot sometimes. Here's another story related to this morning. I rocked on up to my ARTS210 tute... (THX room) and the door was locked!!! I was freaking out, thinking I'd forgotten a room change or something. So I was calling up all my BCA friends saying "omg where is everyone?!?!! I'm outside the door!!" and she's like, "Doesn't the tute only start in an hour?"

Checked my phone. Yup, 9am does not equal 10am. Gah. I felt like such a fool. (Why 9am? All my other lectures for the week start at 9 and on my timetable ARTS appears as a three-hour lecture starting at 9)

EDIT: OH, I'm so bored... about 20 mins to kill before I should start walking to my car

In my lecture notes I have a habit of writing down the stupid/funny things that lecturers say, I don't have any with me at the moment but I'll look some up for sure, this is a good idea for a thread.
As for myself...a while ago (probably week 3/4) I forgot my diary, couldn't remember where most of my classes were and so skipped three quarters of my classes that day. Not very funny, just incredibly dumb. I'd just dyed my hair full-on blonde again, so that's my excuse, heh.

lol i did that before. i went to my accg200 tute, and i was like oh no im late (cuz my tutor is scary and i reckon he hates asians lol) ... anyhooz.. i went in and sat down, and looked around and thought.. these aint my tute ppl.. then i asked the girl next to me.. and yeh it was busl in there, and my tute was in an hour

This isn’t me, but my cultural studies tutor once said to our class “tomorrow I’m going to found your essays.” Hmmm....I don’t trust a tutor who doesn’t know their tense!

HA! I did basically the same thing, but walking into a chemistry class thinking it was my SOC class. My friend and I sat down and were giggling when the tutor asked who did chemistry in high school, thinking it was a joke... then we saw everyone pulling out big fat chemistry textbooks, and we got the hell out of there :S

i'm just listening to a psychology ilecture on motivation

the lecturer is using the example of a fly and explains that when its stomach is empty and it steps on something that tastes good, its legs are incapacitated and the fly then reflexively.......
