Content

Students learn to:

examine contemporary business issues to:
• discuss the global expansion of one Australian business
• discuss the expansion into Australia of one global business

You should be going through outcomes in class. I never made notes in Year 11 so idk how to answer that, most type content.

You don't have to focus on the "students learn to" part since you generally learn about it after going through "students learn about"

Anyway it is not a huge problem as long as you keep it into consideration while doing the about dotpoints.

role of business
• the nature of a business
– producing goods and services
– profit, employment, incomes, choice, innovation, entrepreneurship and risk, wealth and quality of life

how do i expand on this?

The "learn about" dotpoints are the dotpoints which the textbooks cover and provide information on, so basically the content (the meat) of the syllabus. As your knowledge on the topic progresses your teacher will probably also go through learn to dotpoints with you for Business. (quite a few extended responses questions have arisen from this section of the syllabus). However, I found that by learning the concepts in the learn about section you will gain enough knowledge to answer the learn to section.

Anyway if you are looking to go ahead during these holidays just focus on making notes for learn about for now. The main thing you should focus on is understanding the concepts that the dotpoint bring up (to the point where you can sufficiently answer short answer questions), as well as learning definitions where it is relevant so that when you do go through the content at school, the work will be a lot easier for you than for others.

Hope that helps.
