Hi, just wondering if anyone is using Tess as related material and how they are relating it to individual and society and their other texts??

yes im doing it too.
im finding it hard to relate it to individualism, but v easy to relate it to social class/wealth and patriarchal society.
thats kinda the avenue im approaching it from.

really, its about a girl confined by her social class
she is a fallen woman who can no longer persue her destinies in life yadda yadda (hey, thats quite good lol)
