Hi there,

I'm struggling with time management during exams, and it's affecting my performance. Could you please share some tips on how to manage time effectively? Also, I'm curious about which section to attempt first to make the most of my time. Your insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!!!

Yeah so comprehension
Best way to improve is to just do questions under timed settings. First learn how to answer them correctly- learn structure of each mark value question. Do not waste sentences or try to overdo stuff unless u got extra time.
this will also help with pratice but never spend time looking for techniques do that I reading time and if u need a quick glance. Actively read and see what ur getting from that extract. There r some acronyms if u like a quote but can’t think of anything u should kee in mind.
ultimately- tons of practice and it may become ur favourite section fr
I guarantee u just do like 5 papers, one a day and u will get the hand of it. It won’t be daunting anymore.

Do full 20 mark sections and aim to finish with 10 min reading and 45 min working

Paper one always go in order otherwise ur wasting reading time

now for modules
I would say pick whatever ur more comfortable with to finish earlier so u may do like mod a before mod b. But do mod c last as there’s more leniency toward less words, just prepare some quality work. Reading time just read all and try unpacking them and linking it to waht u already have. It kind depends if ur memorising whole essays or just like a range of techniques and analysis that u pick and chose on the day.
tbh I would still go in order but that could just be because it gives me ocd

oh yeah also read 10-20 minutes each night
Hsc styles texts so like anything from articles to blogs or whatever just read something
Heck if u struggle with poetry pull out a random poem and unpack it while u read it

thanks a lot for the detail answering ;) this advice is not only valuable in learning but also valuable for other related thing in the life. and I'm a big fan of practicalism, learning 2 and doing 8 ;) :caffeine::caffeine::caffeine:
