I'm going up to QLD for schoolies this year, I was just wondering if it's as good not being 18?
Its no good trying out an ID is there?

Anyone had any experiences?

I went last year and i was underage, all my mates were 18 too so it made it worse, they always wanted to go clubbing, i only had one underage mate up there. Anyway there IS NOT much to do, UNLESS you go in the first week, because that's when all the beach parties are, and mostly beach parties are more fun than the clubs anyway so the 18 year olds enjoy it too. DO NOT try use a fake ID up there my cousin got hers confiscated and my mate got fined 400, he was lukcy he could of got a fine over 1000 bucks. Go in the first week trust me.

This year when I went half my mates were 18 and the other half were 17 (including me). Its not AS good, because you can go to clubs etc but you cant make your own fun! My friends were good n e way, they didnt dog the 17's

Up at the GC it would be alot better being 18. So many clubs to go to!

As long as you go during the festival week it's fine, but don't go outside the official festival week if you are not 18 it will suck heaps.

When is Schoolies Week

I'm from VIC, so I'm going whenever our dates are.. sometime around the 28th - 4th..
Not sure if thats what your talking about or not..

There is a mix between 17 and 18 year olds, and we usually make lots of fun for ourselves anyway

Go to Bali, Port Macquarie or go to schoolies next year.

I went underage... most of my friends were 18, but they went clubbing once. It was the week after schoolies week too, the beach was still decent and we had heaps of fun. You don't need to be 18, although it would have helped cause i got a nice little $225 fine for drinky drinky on the beach.... But it was the best week of my life, easy.

we were all under age except one of my friend's bf. We went searching for clubs but all of them were really tight about ID. Nehoo we had the best time there was a new year's eve party on the beach and that was so much fun.

we went the we27th nov to the 4th
and we got to go to two of the beach parties and they were heaps good
so i would say try and go qld schoolies week
coz that is when the government organise things
but we had a ball the whole time
but we were in a hotel where u didnt want to leave at night
i went to the clubs twice when i was up there
i probs spent a total of 5 hours in a club
(i got kicked out after an hour in 1 oops)
but i dont think it matters youll have fun if u make it fun
and we made it fun

I was underage and it sucked dick. Evolution is the suckiest sucker that ever sucked... don't go it's a waste of money. I was in there for 30 mins and the ticket cost $30. Just stay in your apartment, get trashed then run around surfers
