seems all other Go8 uni's have increased to the full 25% except ANU

the uni seems to be more focused on not following suit (the full +25%), though may still increase hecs by a certain amount.

the arguments for and against look speculative - i wonder how they'll deal with this.

no, we need more international students, each them means more places for local students.

hopefully they decide to raise fees, otherwise we are just going to lag behind the other GO8 unis, i personally would rather pay 25% more if it meant better quality facilities....

i think the hecs hikes is goin to substantially affect the overall demand for uni, i would predict unis would have lower cutoffs in future.
