UOW Accommodation (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

Just wondering if some present students of UOW and various others could answer a few questions for me:

I've applied Early Entry for Wollongong, and FINGERS CROSSED I will be accepted..

I'm tossing up between Campus East and Weerona College for accomodation. Campus East appeals to me for the bigger amount of students and the flexi catered system. And Weerona for the obvious reason of self catered, cause who doesn't feel lazy at one point or another?

The only problem posed to me is that I'm planning on deferring for a year, earn some $$, maybe travel etc..

SO, here are my questions:

Campus East v Weerona?
Do I apply for accomodation this year? Or wait till next year? Can I cancel my accomodation if I am accepted?
Annd, flexi-catered. Worth it or not?

Info on accommodation in this thread.

Please note that Weerona is NOT self catered. It is a fully catered college - 19 meals a week (all meals excluding weekend lunches) are provided.

What's the accomodation standard like at Campus East? Good/Bad etc?
