Oaktree is Australia’s largest youth-run not-for-profit organisation fighting to end poverty. We are young people leading, demanding and creating a more just world. At Oaktree we are powered by the belief that young people are the change-makers. With this in mind, we have an exciting leadership opportunity for high school students in years 9 to 11.

We are reaching to students for our Student Ambassadors Program this Semester. The Program is a unique leadership opportunity for young Australians in high school who strive to lead, demand and create a more just world. Each month, Student Ambassadors will attend trainings and workshops at their local Oaktree office where they will learn various skills that will empower them to lead campaigns on issues they care about in the world.

Students will develop skills in public speaking, leadership, campaigning, strategy development, project management and diversity (just to name a few). They will have access to an Oaktree mentor who will provide ongoing support and help guide them through the campaign they will lead in their communities. In addition, Student Ambassadors will be provided with an opportunity to come together with like-minded students from other schools, further learn about the work of Oaktree and the important role they can play in fighting global injustice.
