Hey can someone explain to me the concept of the WAM Index? Does it accumulate every year. So a WAM of 65% gets you into honours. Im confused.

Average weighted per credit point. So if all of your subjects are 6cp, it's a straight average.

I know Engineering uses the GWAM to calculate what honours you get after the 4 years, and that's a WAM weighted per year (ie 1st year subjects are worth 1, 4th year worth 4).

With honours, what does it mean to be enrolled in 'Advanced units'? Are they different from Senior units of study? namely, pharmacy.
