What kinda things have you gotten into this year? Student Clubs, societies, competitions, etc?

How much were they, and most importantly: are they worth it!?

i'm in vetsoc (pretty much compulsory if u want cheap textbooks), wildlife soc (coz i'm interested...), golden Key honour soc (coz they invited me, and i thought why not) and agsoc (coz my bf is in ag). I dont really do much except go to the major events like cruises and balls and stuff, but i reckon its worth it just to meet ppl.
last year i joined like 10 socs and didnt go to anything or do anything.... bit of a waste, so this year i only joined the things i knew i would bother to turn up to.

i am very active in chess club... cuz i am interested... scisoc (activist wannabe), maths soc (not yet, but soon i shall align myself with all the maths elites there r =p i wish) and hellota other soc i joined but neva went to the meetup cuz of no time and/or not interested no more...

i also do volunteer stuff if that's wut u meant...

I really want to join the wine society. I'll be doing that next week
Its great just drinking all types of wine and getting sloshed at restaurants/parties.
I also signed up for 'the greens' although I had classes when they had meetings unfortunately.

I was at Patrician Brother Blacktown ... we lost to Normanhurst Boys. I got STEAMED by Tomic Reg in the semi!

uhm, tomek rej is definitely one of the strongest player in NSWJCL...
metro north and metro east were two district with about the fiecest competition... and normanhurst is one of the best in metro north...
