What happens with cohorts of two people? (1 Viewer)

So my school is somewhat rural, and hence my cohorts are small:

Math Ext.2 - 2 (1st)
Math Ext.1 - 6 (2nd)
English Advanced - 8 (4th)
Physics - 10? (2nd)
Chemistry - 15ish (2nd)
SDD - Distance Ed (2nd)

So my main question is, with my mathematics extension 2 class how will our internal marks affect our ATAR? Also worth noting we got within 1% of each other (I just came first).

Also secondary question, are those ranks considered good? our previous years cohort was a anomaly with no band 6s and only a couple band 5s so I cant even use that to judge ;-;
