What will a 49/70 (70%) raw aligned to???? For this HSC ext 1 exam.

This is what I think I got.

Also my internals was 67.5% (27/69)

What HSC mark am I looking at?

Remember that all EXT 2 students also do EXT 1 and without a doubt the majority ace it. Scaling depends on the average of the entire state and so I'd say you're probably looking at mid 70s to low 80s.

So wrong.

Yes, if it isn't an E4 it'll be pretty damn close.

Bull shit. Mid E3 is 40.

It's definitely close or on E4.
it changes every year. considering the radical changes to the paper, with MC and everything. also everyone saying it was "easy", raw marks will defs be higher.
mid e3 and "close to e4" isn't that far off anyway.

It really is a big difference. That's the difference between 80 and 88. Tell me that's small.

The easiest paper (2007) had a cut-off of 65/84 which is 77% but pretty much the whole test was basic, I don't see the cut-off being anything near as high as that and so, the maximum would be ~53/70 for E4 but otherwise, I'd still say ~50/70.

Okay so to conclude:

My hsc mark of 49/50 (70%) will be aligned to around 85/2 = 42.5 hsc mark right?
