Whats the difference between full-time and part-time study (1 Viewer)

one course i want to do takes 8 years part time, 4 years full time
whats the differences - especially in hours?

Part time load just means you're doing less than 24 credits of subjects a semester (usually 4 subjects). Hours would be approx half of full-time load

Assuming your degree has 8 subjects/course/units per year (4 per semester)

The Aust. government deems full time as 3/4 of the full load for the year ie: 3 subjects per semester, total minimum of 6 per year.
Part time is anything less.
