Which careers are more math related than usual? And by how much? (1 Viewer)

I'm a big fan of maths and sciences, espcially human anatomy, and i'm thinking of pursuing a career in medicine, and i'd love to specialise. I heard that ophthalmology and radiation oncology, and radiology have more to do with math than any other specialty. Anyone know how much is used? And any other specialties that use a good deal (not amazingly large but a sensible amount) of maths? Because i'd really like to keep with a bit of maths in my specialty thanks.

We hardly use maths in medicine in medical school. Anyone in high school can probably use the maths we use in medicine unless you want to go into research.

That being said I don't know the specific maths you would learn for opthalmology or radiology or radiation oncology. There is probably some maths involved but I don't think it would involve advanced mathematics.

Unless it's in research and you're trying to use a mathematical model to explain results.
