I can just imagine him coming back after 2 thousand years ago and going "WTF!!! Didn't you guys read the book? Where does it say "Make a new religion idolizing me"?"

Jesus got killed in a drug feud with the priests who were selling crack outside the temple at passover. They were on his turf, so he overturned their tables and ran them out of town with his whip of cords.

The priests had ties to the Jewish religious authorities and Romans who let them sell at the temple to everyone who was coming to participate in the passover, so when they saw Jesus was disrupting their business they ordered his death.

He was a drug dealer, nothing more.
